As we welcome 2026, this January, my family and I are excited to participate in the TinyStep Challenge to support TinyLife.
Our daughter, Aoibhín, was born on November 27, 2024, at 41 weeks, facing serious health challenges, including sepsis. She spent her first eight days in the NICU and the subsequent two weeks between the Royal Victoria Hospital and SWAH, receiving exceptional care from a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. We are forever grateful to them.
During our time at the Royal, TinyLife was an invaluable support, providing services like their breast pump loan program, baby massage classes, and the monthly ‘TinyTime’ support group.
As a family, we celebrated Aoibhín’s first birthday in November, a poignant reminder of how far she has come. We have witnessed firsthand the vital work TinyLife does, helping families with sick and premature babies.
We invite you to join us in raising awareness and funds for TinyLife, ensuring they can continue their essential support for families in need. Together, we can make a difference for those born too soon, too small, and too sick.
