We are Northern Ireland’s premature baby charity here to help you and provide support services both in the Neonatal Unit and in the community . Every day in Northern Ireland 6 babies are born too soon, some arriving as early as 24 weeks weighing as little as 1lb!
Since 1988 we have helped support hundreds of premature and ill babies and their parents just like our little super hero triplets pictured above. Almost 2000 babies spent time in Northern Ireland’s Neonatal units last year, so we still need your help more than ever. We have funded medical research, developed informative publications and influenced thinking around the care of premature babies. Our amazing team of Family Support Officers provide a range of services to support families offering one to one support, home based volunteers, breast pump loans, TinyTime Family Support Groups, Baby Massage Courses, specialist services such as Tinygym, a physio led initiative for babies born with low birth weight and our mental health programme Positive Minds for Premature Parents in association with Aware & Parenting NI.
